“Gauguin and the Voyage to the Exotic – A round-trip journey to the exotic in Modernism.” This is the title of a very interesting exhibition currently on display in the Thyssen-Bornemissza museum in Madrid. This exhibition displays the work of Gauguin and how a trip to Tahiti so much influenced him and this works. This is an amazing exhibition if you are a fan of Gauguin and his works and you should for sure not pity the 10 Euro entrance fee to this exhibition.
This was first put on display on October 9th and will be on display until January 13th in 2013. The curator is Paloma Alarcó and he has done a great job in setting all of this together. We can warmly recommend this!
